This picture was taken at Saddle Rock Elementary school. There was a performance to celebrate the new year (which is today) at my sister's elementary school. The performance had various Chinese dances and songs performed by the three elementary schools in the Great Neck area, as well as Great Neck South High School.

I was excused out of the last two periods of my school day to come back home to see the performance, especially to see my sister perform (she was in the third performance, where she sang in a glee club with other children her age). This was the sixth performance in the show, a lion dance.
