Post Processing (Lightroom 4):
Added a Graduated Filter Exposure -2.00 to what you see.
Black clipping -10
White clipping +60
Shadows -14
Highlights -33
Contrast +69
Then realized that I was trying to compensate too much of the foreground elements and needed to crop the image to what you currently see

Vibrance +30
Saturation +5
Sharpening +150
Sharpen Radius 0.5
Edge Masking 25
Luminescence Smoothing 25
Color Noise Reduction 25
